What is Direct Primary Care?
Unlike a traditional doctor’s office, with Direct Primary Care we bypass the insurance company, so we don’t spend time & money fighting them. Instead, we’re free to spend more time with you & thinking about you & free to pass the monetary savings to you. As a member, you’ll never pay a co-pay, deductible, or coinsurance, & you’ll receive deep discounts on generic meds, labs & non-included services.
Our ServicesAre you available during evenings and weekends?
Yep. We’re available 24/7 to answer a pressing question, or to schedule an off-hours appointment. Like you, we have times when we need a rest and recharge or have unexpected in-person unavailability too. So we have covering clinicians when that happens. For routine questions, please contact us during normal business hours.

PricingAre you an insurance company?
No, we are not health insurance. The monthly member fees cover services provided by BOH doctors and staff only and do not cover services by non-BOH, separately billed, clinicians, specialists, hospital, anesthesia, or pathology fees. We recommend that our members carry insurance for acute and catastrophic emergency care (we can even shepherd you through that process). Most members will save money by using Body of Health, as you never pay co-pays, deductibles, or coinsurance!
What if I have insurance through my employer?
Many employer-sponsored plans have high deductibles and can serve as backup coverage if the healthcare rainy day comes. For relatively healthy folks with high out-of-pocket coverage who feel unlikely to reach their deductible, they choose to use our membership or a la carte services to get the access and personalized care they deserve but aren’t getting. Can you work with my other doctors & specialists?
Absolutely! We love working with your trusted specialists to find the best solution for your complex healthcare needs. Or, if you need a specialist, we know the best in the area — have confidence in your care as we shepherd you to wholeness.
Is this catastrophic care?
No. We are happy to provide non-emergent urgent care, like fixing a cut, diagnosing a cold, or removing an abscess. If you have an emergency, please call 911 or go to the emergency room — that’s what they’re there for.
